Why clients
choose us.
The Yocum Wealth Advisory unites financial planning and investment management into one boutique service — built for individuals and families who value thoughtful advice, personal attention, and a long-term partnership.
We serve a select group of young executives, business owners, and retirees — clients whose financial lives are often complex and evolving.
What draws them to Yocum Wealth is not just our experience, but the depth of relationship we bring to every engagement. We dedicate meaningful time to understanding each client’s goals, priorities, and concerns, ensuring that every recommendation is grounded in what matters most to them.
Our process begins with a comprehensive financial plan — one that serves as a clear, strategic roadmap. This plan is not static; it is reviewed and refined on an annual basis to reflect changes in our clients’ lives, the markets, and the broader economic landscape. We believe that clarity and adaptability are essential to long-term financial success.
Clients also benefit from a fully integrated approach to their financial lives. In addition to investment management, we provide proactive tax planning and guidance on long-term care solutions — areas that are often overlooked but critically important. To further enhance the client experience, we collaborate with a trusted network of local professionals, creating a coordinated and seamless approach to complex financial decisions.
As a mid-sized boutique firm, we are intentionally structured to deliver high-touch service without sacrificing sophistication. Our clients value knowing they are not one of many — they are known, understood, and supported with care and precision.
At Yocum Wealth, we don’t just build portfolios — we build relationships, provide clarity, and help our clients navigate life’s financial decisions with confidence.

Patient capital,
personal counsel.
Markets reward discipline, not reaction. Our philosophy is grounded in long-term thinking, evidence-based portfolio construction, and a willingness to be deliberate when the headlines aren’t.
A financial plan is a living document — not a one-time exercise.
Every engagement begins with a comprehensive plan. It is reviewed and refined annually to reflect changes in your life, the markets, and the broader economic landscape. Clarity and adaptability are non-negotiable.
Fiduciary, full stop.
As an Accredited Investment Fiduciary®, Greg is bound to act in your interest — not a brokerage’s. No hidden product agendas, no quotas.
Integrated, not siloed.
Investments, tax planning and long-term care are coordinated as one system. We collaborate with your CPA, estate attorney and other professionals so nothing falls through the cracks.
Mid-sized by design.
Large enough to deliver sophistication. Small enough that you are known by name. You will never be one of many.
What we do, and

A fourth-generation Arizonan with a
quarter-century of perspective.
Greg Yocum brings more than 25 years of experience, beginning his career in the financial services industry in 1998 after earning his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Northern Arizona University. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional and Accredited Investment Fiduciary®, he is committed to delivering advice grounded in discipline, objectivity, and a fiduciary standard of care.
As co-founder and partner of a $1 billion registered investment advisory firm, Greg played a key role in building a successful, client-focused practice. Today, he is channeling that experience, insight, and professional network into Yocum Wealth — a boutique firm dedicated to providing the time, attention, and personalized guidance clients deserve. His vision is centered on fostering deep relationships and delivering thoughtful, comprehensive financial planning solutions.
His passion for investing started early. Raised on the Big Island of Hawaii, Greg developed a natural curiosity for numbers and long-term value creation. As a young collector of stamps and sports memorabilia, he was drawn to assets with the potential to appreciate over time. At age 18, he purchased his first stock — an experience that sparked a lifelong interest in the capital markets and a desire to help others achieve financial confidence and security.
A fourth-generation Arizonan, Greg has deep roots in the state — his great-grandfather served in the Arizona State Senate in the 1940s, reflecting a longstanding family connection to the region. Outside of his professional life, Greg enjoys tennis, scuba diving, and hiking, and values spending time with his daughter, Kailey.

markets & meaning.
Plain-spoken commentary on markets, planning, and the things that actually move the needle for long-term investors. Written, not generated.
The case for boring — Why the next decade rewards patience over prediction — and what we're doing about it across client portfolios.
Every market cycle has its own gravity. In one, it pulls you toward optimism; in another, toward fear. The challenge for long-term investors has rarely been finding the next great idea. It has been refusing the bad ones the market keeps handing you with great confidence. For the last three years, that gravity has been […]
